Exhibition identity
Warsaw photo days festival of photography was founded in 2013 on the initiative of the warsaw district of the association of polish art photographers zpaf that is simultaneously an organizer of the event. The festival was planned as a showcase of problematic photographic exhibitions and accompanying events. Each edition has its own title that problematizes and thematically combines the projects presented by artists and curators. This photographic event is designed to be a place for meetings and presentations of various forms of photography, both from a historical perspective and current activities.
The second edition of WARSAW PHOTO DAYS took place in October 2014. The theme was widely understood IDENTIFICATION. Organized were three, main collective exhibitions: “Recognition” (curators: Joanna Kinowska and Dominika Kucner), “The Signature” (curator: Katarzyna Majak), and “Marked Places” (curator: Andrzej Zygmuntowicz). Moreover, held was an exhibition of “Hidden Reality” by Michał Adamski, a winner of the first edition of SLIDELUCK WARSAW 1st edition.
